The Family Formation Crisis

One of the most revealing statistics on the state of the American family is found in the fact that only thirty percent of the conceptions that occur are planned. The family is not being perpetuated by the conscious desire to create it. If intent were required for procreation most families would be near extinction.

What we know as family today for the most part is coming to us as an imposition. Perhaps you know someone who is dealing with an unintended pregnancy. Most people enter the family as an uninvited guest. In some instances what passes for love, is in fact toleration. Our challenge at Save the Family Institute is to reverse this trend.
